This type of low-alloy steel sintered intake and exhaust sprockets are used in high-performance double overhead camshafts V-6 engine VVT.This kind of sprocket is made from warm pressing,density achieves 7.25g/ cm³^.It requests the mould and powder controls the temperature within 2.8℃.Using the type of CNC machine(hydraulic compound molding machine) with grooved powder heater. to compact to sprocket to final shape.The complex design makes this kind of parts become multifunctional components.Not only high strength timing sprocket,but also can achieve cam phase function.The teeth need to be hardened,and tempered to achieve apparent hardness 70HRA.The tensile strength of this kind of parts can achieve 1.169Mpa,fatigue limits 358Mpa,yield strength 1.262Mpa.
