The Development Direction of Powder Metallurgy

1, Hot Sprue Technology

In powder metallurgy industry, Hot Sprue Technology is more popular, and which will improve the production capacity and quality of PM parts, also reduce cost in feedstock

2, Standard Powder Metallurgy Technology

Standard processes and equipments of PM are used widely, which will reduce the manufacturing cycle of moulds and cost of metal powders and improve the quality of moulds.

3, Pressing Moulds

In powder metallurgy, the pressing moulds will share more ratios. Vehicles and electrical machines tend to light, which require strictly on the quantity, lifetime and complexity of pressing moulds.

4, Tolerance

Nowadays, the accuracy of PM is 0.02-0.03mm, and will become tighter. The accuracy of 0.01mm will be achieved soon.

5, Multi-functional Composite Mould

Multi-functional composite mould will be used widely soon, which could achieve pressing shaping, drilling, welding, assembling.
