Now the usage of powder metal parts in European cars’ are around 14kgs,9 kgs for Japanese car and above 19.5kgs for American cars.In the following years,it may achieve 22kgs.However,in China,the usage of powder metal parts are only around 5-6kgs.Considering energy saving and emission reduction,the demand of using powder metallurgy to produce auto parts for domestic auto brands will be increasing in near future.

The following picture shows the distribution of powder metal parts in Auto.In chassis,includes shock absorber parts,guidance,piston and low seat;in braking system,there are ABS sensor,brake block etc;in pumps,there are critical parts on fuel pump,oil pump and transmission pumps;in engine system,there are pipe,seat ring,connecting bar,bearing housing,VVT and exhaust pipe seat etc;in transmission,there are synchronizer hub and planet carrier.

With the increasing requirements on energy saving and emission reduction in auto,recent year,VVT parts,variable pumps and brake vacuum booster pump,the three types of energy saving and emission reduction parts are obtained greatly develop and utilization.
